Pack Promise Resources

To our New Pack Promise Scholars—Welcome to NC State! We’re excited to have you here with us on campus as we get Fall 2011 underway, and hope you’re beginning to feel a part of the NC State community. Making connections and meeting people on a big campus like NC State can be both exciting and scary. Not to worry— your coaches are here to answer questions and make suggestions about places to check out as you continue your transition into college life. Here are a few suggestions for campus organizations that may be of interest or assistance to you:

Hope you’re looking forward to a great semester!

Pack Promise Coaches—Here for YOU! The Pack Promise staff  is eager to help you make connections and meet the people who can help you succeed on campus. Pack Promise Coaches are your premier resources for making those connections and achieving success on campus. Our coaches are faculty and staff members in your college who are dedicated to helping you with the transition to life at NC State and being a “guide” on your college journey.

Coming to college is a major life change, and your coach is there to help you recognize and adjust to the many new things you’ll encounter during your first year. Coaches work with you in a one-on-one capacity to help you navigate life changes based on the way you learn and the ways you interact with others. They’re also ready to discuss your goals, helping you design strategies to achieve your goals. Be sure to meet early and often with your coach—they are here for YOU!

Facebook + Pack Promise = IS HERE. Scholars, check out the Pack Promise Facebook page—stay connected to Pack Promise, your fellow scholars, and your coaches AND keep up with latest events. Could you be in one of the pictures appearing on the page?! This page is NOT to be missed!
