Changing Majors/Intra-Campus Transfer Requirements (ICTRs)

An Intra-Campus Transfer is when a student transfers from one major to another within NC State University. Academic Advising Services advises students who want to switch to a different major.

AAS Advisors are cross trained to know and understand requirements and curricula for all of the majors and colleges at NC State University. To make meet with an Advisor to discuss your major options, visit us during the walk-in hours posted below.

Walk-in Advising

Walk-in advising in FYC Commons is for students changing into a new major. No appointment is necessary. To manage wait times, sessions may be limited to 15-20 minutes per student.
